Anja Riemer, a director, actor, and storyteller, has a love for all things theater and film. Her creative journey started with playing a Lioness in her middle school’s production of Lion King Jr. From there she went on to play The Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland Jr. and Miss Scarlet in CLUE: The-stay-at-home-edition, along with her various Ensemble member credits throughout school. Her love for theater then opened the door to discover a love for film. After choosing to study motion pictures at Belmont University, she got the opportunity to write and direct two short films. Her learned directing experience then led her back to theater at the music school, Bach to Rock. There she co-directed Alice in Rockland, a rock version of Alice in Wonderland, and tech-directed Goosebumps: The Musical: Phantom of the Auditorium.
